Become a CHD Champion

Turn your experience into action

Your voice can help move congenital heart disease higher on the national agenda.

By joining the Every 100th Heart CHD Champions Network, you’ll become part of a nationwide community of patients, families, clinicians, and advocates working together to create meaningful policy change. No previous experience is required.

What You’ll Do

As a CHD Champion, you’ll have opportunities to:

Build relationships with lawmakers and congressional staff to advance Every 100th Heart’s policy priorities.

Organize, lead, and participate in advocacy events and meetings at both the state and national level.

Serve as a state and regional leader during future Every 100th Heart Advocacy Summits, state-level advocacy events, and congressional meetings.

Raise awareness for the CHD community by serving as a spokesperson for Every 100th Heart and participating in media opportunities, as desired.

Help recruit and encourage other advocates to raise their voices in support of the CHD community.

Participate in webinars and trainings to build your advocacy, policy, and media engagement skills.

Receive real-time advocacy updates and opportunities to take action throughout the year.
