This past May, more than 200 members of the congenital heart disease (CHD) community came together in Washington, D.C. for the inaugural National CHD Advocacy Summit. Patients, families, clinicians, researchers and advocates connected, learned from one another and carried a powerful, unified message to Capitol Hill through 157 congressional meetings.
